ABSTRACT Grafting can be an ally in the vegetable’s soilless cultivation, being objective of this work evaluate growth and production, as well to define thermal sum trophic limit grafted non-grafted tomato plants cultivated substrate. The experiments were conducted a protected environment city Jaguari-RS, two growing seasons years 2019 2020. Italian Gaucho cultivars used, rootstock was chosen for giving vigor longevity plants. Yield data obtained through weekly fruit harvesting, periodic collections whole total biomass at end experiments. Grafted show greater vegetative regardless crop season; however, are more productive cycle with restricted light low temperatures. require complete their phenological stages. is 4.8 MJ/m2/day.
